Week 1, 2, 3, 4

  • Study for FAA Laser Grade Written Exam for Aviation Technician General

      • FAA Prep Ware – Software with all possible FAA exam questions
  • Pass FAA Laser Grade Written Exam for Aviation Technician General
    • Authorized Laser Grade Testing Center
      • Tradewind Aviation in New Bern, NC at the Airport
      • Jacksonville Flying Service in Jacksonville, NC at the Airport
    • Length of Exam: 100 questions, approximately 2 hours

Week 5, 6, 7, 8

  • Location: Computer Lab
  • Study for FAA Laser Grade Written Exam for Aviation Technician Airframe or Powerplant

College Will Supply

Textbooks: General Kit Textbook Set, Airframe or Powerplant Kit Textbook Set, Mechanics Handbook, ASA Prep-Ware (Software with FAA sample question test bank.)

Exam Fees

Exam Fees: College pays these fees one time. If student fails any part of their exams and is required to retest, the cost of the retesting is the student’s responsibility. The College will pay for these fees for up to 90 days after the last day of class. Beyond this point, the cost of exams are the student’s responsibility.

Oral and Practical Exam General & Airframe or Powerplant $600.00 for both
Oral and Practical Exam Add-On Airframe or Powerplant $400.00
