Craven Community College Foundation

Giving Opportunities

College Campus Fund

The Foundation has established an Unrestricted College Campus Fund for campus priorities. This fund has been established to create flexibility when responding to new and emerging priorities.

Faculty Enrichment Fund

The purpose of this fund is to support Craven Community College Faculty with professional and program development opportunities. These opportunities may include, but are not limited to, faculty travel and conference registration costs, program equipment and/or supply expenses.

Student Engagement Fund

The purpose of this fund is to support student activities. Funds will be awarded to student clubs and organizations, as well as on-campus programs for future students, such as coordinated camps with area elementary, middle, and high school students. Student Engagement Funds are considered matching funds and will be equally matched based on what has been raised for the activity by a student group, partnership organization or departmental budget.

General Scholarship Fund

Each year the foundation awards a number of general scholarships to students to further their educational and professional goals. General Scholarship Funds are not designated to students within a particular program or area or study, but are awarded to students who exceed GPA requirements and standards as well as those who have established a demonstrated financial need.  The flexibility of the general scholarship fund allows the Foundation to have an impact across a variety of program areas and allows us to help students with a wide variety of interests.

Endowment Scholarship Fund

Scholarships

By making an investment in an endowment fund, you will know your gift is providing an annual scholarship to a deserving student in perpetuity. Endowment funds begin at $23,000. The Craven Community College Foundation currently manages a variety of endowments that have been made as memorial gifts or to honor members of the community.

The college promotes workforce development and training to build a strong regional economy, while also giving students the academic resources to transfer to a university. The Craven Community College Foundation underwrites scholarships for deserving students and other vital college programs.

The Business Leadership Circle provides businesses and industry with an opportunity to participate in the dynamic educational environment that has been created within Craven Community College. The Business Leadership Circle is the link between the Foundation and the business community.

Members of the Business Leadership Circle are asked to make a three year contribution commitment to the Foundation by choosing among three levels of support given annually. For complete information on the BLC giving program and benefits go to Business Leadership Circle page.
