23.  Pediatric Trio - This course focuses on pediatric emergency pre-hospital care.  On successful completion of the course, the students are eligible for PALS, PEPP, and Pediatric-ITLS certifications.  Friday evening attendance mandatory. This course meets Friday 6-10pm, Saturday 8:30am-5pm, and Sunday 8am-5pm.

 

24.  Cardiac Anatomy & Physiology - This hands-on course will give the participant a more in-depth knowledge of the structure and function of this important organ in botrh a lecture and lab format.  This course meets Saturday only 8:30am-12:30pm.

 

25.  Advanced Airway - This course covers the anatomy of the airway and airway procedures for the basic and advanced provider.  This course meets Saturday only 1-5pm.

 

26.  Legal Issues in Emergency Care - This course covers legal topics that affect emergency services care.  This course meets Sunday only 8-10am.

 

27.  12-Lead Acquisition for the Non-Paramedic Provider - This course covers the basic 12-lead acquisition for BLS personnel to include lead placement, techniques, and trouble shooting.  This course meets Sunday only 10am-12Noon.

 

28.  Trauma Emergencies - This course will use lecture and hands-on practice scenarios to review traumatic injuries and care for the emergency provider.  This course meets Sunday only 1-5pm.
