Academic Skills Center

There is an Academic Skills Center (ASC) on both the New Bern and Havelock campus. The ASC provides academic support to curriculum students enrolled in courses at all levels. There mission is to partner with students in reaching their academic, personal, social and economic potential by supporting their intellectual growth, directing them to reach sources and motivated them to become lifelong learners.

Institute of Aeronautical Technology

The mission of the Institute of Aeronautical Technology - "Aviation Systems Technology" Program is to provide workforce training and development for the civilian and military aviation maintenance community.

Weekend College

Complete college transfer courses on the weekend!

Craven’s Weekend College is for students who want to attend college but need a flexible learning schedule. Working adults whose busy lives make it difficult to attend classes during the week can attend classes online and on Saturday and Sundays in a friendly learning environment.

Craven’s Weekend College program highlights:

  • combines classroom and online instruction
  • offers core North Carolina University transfer courses
  • provides the opportunity to complete an AA degree
  • financial aid and scholarship options for those who qualify
  • small class sizes
  • part-time or full-time enrollment
  • support for your academic success

Craven’s Weekend College program provides the opportunity to earn an Associate in Arts (AA) degree. Classes are offered on Saturdays and Sundays, with additional instruction online; and are completed in 4 week minimesters. New classes are offered throughout the year.

Associate in Arts Degree
