Overview

The Basic Skills Program helps adults obtain the knowledge and skills necessary for employment, self-sufficiency, the educational development of children and the completion of secondary school education. Classes and materials are provided at no cost to the student. Adult High School and Genereal Education Development are available as home-study (distance education option). The following areas comprise the Basic Skills Programs:

• Adult Basic Education (ABE)

• Adult High School (AHS)

• English as a Second Language (ESL)

• General Educational Development (GED)
