Associate in General Education

Program Description

The Associate in General Education (AGE) is designed to meet the needs of students who are primarily interested in only two years of college. However, the AGE may also be used by students who need to take specific courses to transfer to a specialized major at a four year college or university. See your advisor to discuss these specific courses of study. The Associate in General Education is not part of the comprehensive Articulation Agreement. However, college transfer courses taken within the Associate in General Education degree will be transferable on a course-by-course basis. A student completing this degree may combine a variety of college transferable general education courses with industrial or service technologies core courses to obtain a two-year degree that is applicable to their specific job or career goal.
