The Academic Skills Center (ASC) provides academic support to curriculum students enrolled in courses at all levels. The ASC staff provides tutorial services through the Math Lab, Writing Lab, and Computer Lab. In addition, the ASC offers peer tutoring, online tutoring, supplemental instruction, and a variety of workshops.
The ASC also works with students who have learning and physical disabilities. Students with disabilities who wish to request academic accommodations should contact the Director of the Academic Skills Center. More information can be obtained by clicking here. Both New Bern and Havelock administer distance education and make-up tests.
Fall and Spring testing hours for the New Bern Campus distance education and make-up tests are:
Monday - Thursday 8:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Friday 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Saturday 9:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Fall and Spring testing hours for the Havelock Campus distance education and make-up tests are:

Project HEART
ECU's Project HEART provides opportunities for you to help increase the number of students who succeed academically, reduce the dropout rate and increase the number of students who graduate from high school in 4 years.
