The N.C. General Assembly increased tuition to $69.00 per credit hour and increased out-of-state tuition to $261.00 per credit hour.

Senior Citizen Fees

NOTE: Senior Citizens, 65 years of age or older, who meet North Carolina requirements (G.S.116-143.1) as residents for tuition purposes shall have tuition waived for up to six hours of credit instruction (curriculum) and one course of noncredit instruction (occupational extension continuing education) per academic semester. North Carolina senior citizens also receive a waiver for parking and student activity fees for courses taken that constitute six hours of credit or less per semester. Seniors who take more than six hours of credit courses per semester will be charged the parking and student activity fees. Picture ID with birth-date must be presented to qualify for waiver of tuition. Other fees if applicable are not exempt.
