Computer Technology Fees

In addition to the Computer Technology Fees, a $5.00 fee will be collected from each Continuing Education student taking a course that uses a computer lab.

A $ 10.00 per course summer supply fee will be charged for all curriculum degree courses.

Senior Citizen Fees

NOTE: Senior Citizens, 65 years of age or older, who meet North Carolina requirements (G.S. 116-143.1) as residents for tuition purposes pay no tuition for state funded courses.  North Carolina senior citizens also receive a waiver for parking and student activity fees for courses taken that constitute six hours of credit or less per semester.  Seniors who take more than six hours of credit courses per semester will be charged the parking and student activity fees.  Picture ID with birth-date must be presented to qualify for waiver of tuition.  Other fees if applicable are not exempt.

Refund Policy

Spring 2010

A 100% refund shall be made if the student withdraws prior to the first day of class(es) of the academic term.  

This means you must withdraw prior to:

  • January 11, 2010 for Term A and regular term,
  • February 9, 2010 for the 12 week term, and
  • March 9, 2010 for Term B.

A 75% refund shall be made if the student withdraws prior to or on the 10 percent point of the term:

  • January 14, 2010 for Term A,
  • January 21, 2010 for regular term,
  • February 16, 2010 for the 12 week term, and
  • March 12, 2010 for Term B.
  • For contact hour classes, use 10 calendar days from the first day of class(es) as the determination date.
