Summer Supply Fee

Effective Summer Semester 2007 a $ 10.00 per course summer supply fee will be charged for all curriculum degree courses.

Effective Fall Semester 2006 a $10.00 per course lab fee will be charged for certain courses taken.

Senior Citizen Fees

NOTE: The N.C. General Assembly determines tuition at all N.C. Community Colleges Tuition rates are subject to change by action of the N.C. General Assembly. N.C. Residents 65 and older pay no tuition for state-funded courses.  Senior Citizens are responsible for any other fees.

Refund Policy

Spring 2008

A 100 percent refund shall be made if the student withdraws prior to the first day of class(es) of the academic term. This means you must withdraw prior to January 7, 2008, for regular term and term A, January 23, 2008, for the 14-week term and March 5, 2008 for term B.

A 75 percent refund shall be made if the student withdraws prior to or on the 10 percent point of the academic term (January 10, 2008, for term A, January 16, 2008, for regular term, January 31, 2008, for 14-week term, and March 10, 2008, for term B). For contact hour classes, use 10 calendar days from the first day of class(es) as the determination date.  

Summer 2008

A 100% refund shall be made if the student withdraws prior to the first day of class(es) of the academic term.  This means you must withdraw prior to: May 19, 2008 for the 10 week term, May 19, 2008 for the 8 week term, and July 7, 2008 for the 5 week (Late Start) term.

A 75% refund shall be made if the student withdraws prior to or on the 10 percent point of the term:  May 23, 2008 for the 10 week term, May 22, 2008 for the 8 week term, and July 9, 2008 for the 5 week (Late Start) term.  For contact hour classes, use 10 calendar days from the first day of class(es) as the determination date.
