Admission Requirements to Qualify for I-20 Form (Certificate of Eligibility for Nonimmigrant (F-1) Student Status for Academic and Language Students)

All applicants must submit an Application for Admission to the College at least six months prior to the term in which they plan to enroll, and request that an official copy of their high school and college transcripts be sent directly to our admissions office. If the applicant has completed a high school equivalency certificate (GED), this record must be submitted in lieu of the high school transcript. All documents must be translated into English.

Scores for the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) must be submitted. Applicants must demonstrate English proficiency with a minimum score of 500 on the paper-based version or 173 on the computer-based test. You may submit documentation to show successful completion of an English as a Second Language program in lieu of the TOEFL examination. This requirement is waived for native-speakers of English.

Applicants must
submit a form, I-134 Affidavit of Support, with supporting documents to verify that sufficient funds are available for students to cover all expenses associated with attending the college for one year (tuition, fees, books, room, etc.). The cost of attendance is an estimated minimum of thirteen to nineteen thousand dollars ($13,000 to $19,000) annually.
