Addition to Kelso Hall

Construction has started on the Advanced Machining Annex to Kelso Hall. The addition is being funded in part by the federal Economic Development Administration. The college's Board of Trustees in October 2005 awarded a $749,000 contract to a Kinston construction firm for the project. By February 2006, initial site work and demolition had begun and, by March, the building was taking shape.

In March 2006, a crane was brought in to set the steel for the addition.
