POSITION TO BE FILLED: HVAC Instructor
FULL OR PART TIME: Part-Time
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Current and active heating license by the NC State Board of Examiners of Plumbing, Heating, and Fire Sprinkler Contractors. Current and active EPA Universal Certification by the NC State Board of Refrigeration Examiners. Experience developing and teaching continuing education courses. Expert knowledge of HVAC licensing requirements, safety, techniques, skills and best practices.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: An A.A.S. degree or higher is preferred. Military experience is a definite plus, as students will be DOD employees and/or active military. Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem solving and relationship skills. Excellent analytical skills. Demonstrated expertise in both content delivery and facilitation. Responsible for teaching students who have varying backgrounds and skill levels. Teaching assignments are at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point during the day.
