POSITION TO BE FILLED: Plumbing Instructor

FULL OR PART TIME: Part-Time

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Current and active NC State Board of Examiners of Plumbing, Heating, and Fire Sprinkler Contractors plumbing license. Experience developing and teaching plumbing continuing education courses. Expert knowledge of plumbing codes, licensing requirements, safety, techniques, skills and best practices.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: An A.A.S. degree or higher is preferred. Military experience is a definite plus, as students will be Department Of Defense employees and/or active military. Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem solving, and relationship skills. Excellent analytical skills. Demonstrated expertise in both content delivery and facilitation. Responsible for teaching students who have varying backgrounds and skill levels. Teaching assignments are at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point during the day.
