POSITION TO BE FILLED: Leadership Instructor

FULL OR PART TIME: Part-Time

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelorýs degree in a business or management related field. Experience developing and teaching leadership-related material. Expert knowledge of best practices related to creative problem solving, team building, leadership styles, continuous process improvement, management theory, employee behavior & motivation, root cause analysis, total quality, and statistical process control.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: MBA degree is preferred. Lean/Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification preferred. Military experience is a definite plus, as students will be Department Of Defense employees and/or active military. Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem solving, and relationship skills. Excellent analytical skills. Demonstrated expertise in both content delivery and facilitation. Responsible for teaching students who have varying backgrounds and skill levels. Teaching assignments are at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point during the day. SALARY LEVEL: College Salary Plan: Bachelorýs degree = $24 per classroom hour / MBA degree = $28 per classroom hour

SELECTION PROCESS: All completed applications that meet the minimum requirements are referred to a screening committee. The committee selects candidates for interview and then recommends the top candidates to the divisional Vice President. The divisional Vice President in turn, will make a recommendation for employment to the President. The President will make the final hiring decision.
