POSITION TO BE FILLED: Executive Director of the Foundation
FULL OR PART TIME: Full-Time
JOB DESCRIPTION: Executive Director of the Foundation
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education, master degree preferred. Minimum of three years experience in development and fund-raising; demonstrated record of gift cultivation, minimum of five years of management/supervisory experience; and excellent communication, problem solving, relationship building and interpersonal skills.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The Executive Director of the Foundation is a senior level administrator who is the College's chief fund-raising officer and oversees the Advancement Office, Lifetime Learning Center and Public Radio East. S/he is expected 10 provide leadership in designing and executing the fund-raising/development efforts that support the College's strategic plan. S/he establishes and maintains positive relations with alumni, donors and the general public. The Executive Director of the Foundation reports directly to the President and serves as a member of the President's Cabinet.

SALARY LEVEL: College Salary Plan Level 21: $69,264 - $86,580
SELECTION PROCESS: All completed applications that meet the minimum requirements are referred to a screening committee. The committee selects candidates for interview and then recommends the top candidates to the divisional Vice President. The divisional Vice President in turn, will make a recommendation for employment to the President. The President will make the final hiring decision. The Human Resource Office will notify all applicants when a position has been filled. All applications will remain active for one year should other openings occur.
