POSITION TO BE FILLED: Executive Director of the Foundation
FULL OR PART TIME: Full-Time
JOB DESCRIPTION: Executive Director of the Foundation
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education (master degree preferred); minimum of three years experience in development and fundraising; demonstrated record of gift cultivation; minimum of five years of management/supervisory experience; and excellent communication, interpersonal, problem solving and relationship building skills.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The Executive Director of the Foundation is a senior level administrator who is the College's chief fundraising officer and oversees the Advancement Office, Lifetime Learning Center and Public Radio East. S/he is expected to provide leadership in designing and executing the fundraising/development efforts that support the College's strategic plan. S/he establishes and maintains positive relations with alumni, donors, and the general public. The Executive Director of the Foundation reports directly to the President and serves as a member of the President's Cabinet. . It is preferred that employment start as soon as possible.
