POSITION TO BE FILLED: Clinical Nursing Instructor

FULL OR PART TIME: Part-Time

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: RN, BSN holds a current unrestricted license to practice as a registered nurse in North Carolina. Have two calendar years or the equivalent of full time clinical experience as a registered nurse. Copy of North Carolina license and official copies of transcripts must be submitted with application.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Prior to or within the first three years of employment, have preparation in teaching and learning principles for adult education, including curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation, appropriate to assignment. Maintain competence in the areas of assigned responsibility. Have current knowledge of nursing practice for the registered nurse and the licensed practical nurse. Responsible for teaching students who have varying backgrounds and skill levels and other duties. Must be able to work as a team member and must possess an understanding of and a commitment to the unique role of the community college.
