The College is growing to meet the needs of its community. In 2008, the College opened a new 35,000-square-foot building at the New Bern Campus to accommodate Craven's array of business and computer information technology programs. The same year, Craven dedicated the new Bosch and Siemens Advanced Manufacturing Center on the New Bern Campus, which provides state-of-the-art training in manufacturing methods and processes to support BSH Home Appliances Corp. and other industrial employers.
The Havelock-Cherry Point Campus is home to the Institute of Aeronautical Technology, which provides training in aircraft maintenance to support the Fleet Readiness Center East at nearby MCAS Cherry Point. The Campus also is home to the Lewis S. Redd Classroom Building as well as a branch of the Craven County Public Library.
An Early College high school and the Public Radio East network are located at the New Bern Campus. A Small Business Center, a strong adult enrichment program and arts and entertainment events help round out the College's offerings to Craven County and the growing region.
