The Small Business Center now has two locations to offer seminars, conduct counseling and provide resources for business research and computer usage. The New Bern Center was moved into new facilities on campus in the fall of 2003 and a new Center at the eastern end of the county was opened on the Havelock campus also during the fall.

The Small Business Center now has articles in four neighborhood monthly newspapers on topics of interest to small business owners and potential entrepreneurs. These have helped generate interest in the Center's seminars.
