Campus Security Statement
Craven Community College strives to provide a safe and secure campus environment to all students, employees and visitors.

The Assistant Director for Security and Night Operations works in partnership with the Craven County Sheriff's Department and its designated resource officer to:

• Safeguard the College campus from theft and damage through routine patrol
  
  
• Protect students, employees and visitors and their property from harm through crisis intervention and conflict resolution
  
  
• Provide assistance at accidents and other emergencies
  
  
• Take reports of criminal actions and notify and coordinate with the Assistant Director for Security and Night Operations, the resource officer or local law enforcement agencies as appropriate
  
  
• Investigate suspicious or unusual activity that occurs on the College campus
  
  
• Enforce College rules and regulations

The Campus Security Department is located in the Student Center across from the student lounge on the New Bern campus.

Contact Campus Security at 638-7261 during College operating hours. On Friday evenings, weekends and holidays, call 514-5276. Resource Officer Paul Branaman can be reached directly at 229-6368 Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
