Bosch and Siemens Advanced Manufacturing Center
When built, the new 30,000-square-foot Bosch and Siemens Advanced Manufacturing Center will offer state-of-the-art training in advanced manufacturing methods and techniques. Craven Community College received $3.7 million from the N.C. General Assembly for the building in 2005, and received an additional $3.7 million state appropriation for it in 2006. A groundbreaking ceremony for the new center, which also will house Craven's early college high school, was held in April 2006. Bids for construction were awarded in March 2007.
