You will learn basic grammar including present tense (regular, irregular, reflexive, and stem-changing verbs), past tense (Pretérito Indefinitdo), and the difference between saber and conocer. Practice may help you to comfortably:
- Introduce yourself
- Describe your job and your work place
- Talk about likes and dislikes
- Describe your house and your neighborhood
- Talk about the weather, the time and the seasons
- Talk about your daily routine
- Express frequency with words and phrases (such as siempre, nunca a veces, etc.)
- Talk about habits and activities
- Express opinions, agreement and disagreement
- Use prepositions (such as de, desde, hasta, a, por, en)
- Use quantifiers (such as muchos, pocos, bastantes, algunos, ningunos)
Videos, audio recordings, and group activities will be used to reinforce acquired knowledge and oral expression. About the Instructor
Minerva Azahara Bes Irigoy is a trilingual instructor who has taught Spanish to children and adults in Singapore, Germany, and the United States for the past 10 years. She is passionate about empowering others by helping to improve their travel and language communication skills and fostering an appreciation of the Spanish language for everyday use. Her focus is to make learning fun, interesting, and flexible enough to ensure we all learn and enjoy the Spanish language.
